What I Do








Website Project Management and Launch
One of my favorite projects was leading the development and launch of an interactive learning website for Engendering Industries, a USAID program focused on women’s economic empowerment. From writing the RFP to collaborating with developers, project directors, and government partners, I managed every step of the process.
The final product, EngenderingIndustries.org, was designed to be an innovative and practical tool for organizations worldwide advancing gender equality. The site was taken offline in 2025 due to the program’s contract cancellation.

Web Strategy and Content Management


During the pandemic, I worked closely with UX, SEO, technology, and content teams to build high-performing pages that boosted donations and engagement on SalvationArmyUSA.org. I supported A/B testing, SEO, and conversion strategies as part of the team’s digital transformation during a critical time.
Key Campaigns:
Covid-19 Landing Page [PDF]: I led web optimization for a Covid-19 relief campaign to provide meals, shelter, and other assistance to those in need in 2020. The Salvation Army saw an increase in digital donations, especially as contributions to nonprofits declined.
Christmas Campaign Page [PDF]: During the 2020 Christmas campaign, I directed efforts to design highly optimized web pages, provide compelling content, and add functionality to encourage visitors to donate money and toys to families in need. The website enhancements contributed to a 100% increase in digital donations and provided assistance for more than 2.6 million people.

With a strong foundation in journalism and a Master’s Degree in Journalism and Public Affairs, I bring proven experience in writing, editing, and strategic communication. I’ve written feature articles, blog posts, press releases, and newsletters, and have managed public relations and crisis communications. I’ve also reported on both local and national issues, including coverage of Congress.
